I am just getting the chance to post some pictures from our girls weekend in DFW. A couple weeks ago (after planning around teacher & nurses schedules) our family finally got back together. We had a great weekend full of pool time, family & awesome food.
I drove in really early Friday and had lunch with Amy, Kelsey, Mia and Taryn. After lunch, Amy, Mia and I headed to Grapevine. We ran a few errands and then were ready to party at Debbie's. Debbie loaded Mia up with kitchen items for some entertainment and we headed outside.
Mattie even got invited!
We played with Mia for a long time in the pool and then Mia hit the hammock for a nap. Anne, Erin, Tricia & Ashley all made it over. We soaked in more rays and then it was time for Mia's bath. Always an adventure! This is when we really get to see her personality come out. She reminds me so much of Amy...its really fun to see.
Ashley & George announced they are having a BABY BOY!!!
Mia was very excited to get her cupcake which was filled with blue icing...
We had our traditional lasagna dinner and then hit the pool after dark.
The next morning, we headed to Joe T's for brunch. Mia was dressed in her Tech game day attire : ) and kept Anne busy running after her as she explored the outdoors. Joe T's never disappoints.
After lunch, we headed back for some more pool time (including all the dogs) while Tricia got some work done & Debbie started on dinner. She is the greatest host ever. Seriously.
After dinner, the girls headed back out to play some games around the pool. Great weekend with my wonderful family.
